Nepal SBI Bank Limited, a leading “A” class Commercial bank of Nepal invites applications for branches in and outside Kathmandu Valley, from dynamic, competent and enthusiastic Nepali citizens interested to pursue their career path with the Bank for the following positions:
1. Position Title: Junior Assistant
No of Requirement: 148
Qualification:
> Must be a Nepali Citizen. Bachelor’s Degree/ any other equivalent graduate/post graduate degree from a recognized university with at least 50% aggregate marks/3 CGPA. Degree in management is preferable.
Experience:
> Prior experience is not required, but candidates having relevant experience will be preferred.
Age: Not exceeding 28 years age as on 14th November, 2017.
Other desirable competencies/qualifications for both positions:
> Fluency in written and spoken English and Nepali.
> Working knowledge of Office Applications.
> Good interpersonal skills, communication skills and ability to maintain effective working relations with people.
2. Position Title: Audit Officer
No of Requirements: 4
Qualification:
> Must be a Chartered Accountant from Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal.
Experience:
> At least one year of experience in Banking Audit
> Age: Not exceeding 35 years as on 14th November, 2017.
Requirements:
> Ability to understand and assess the area under audit; to analyze the audit data & process for appropriateness, accuracy & effectiveness; to judge the adequacy of internal controls; and to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the system & procedures under audit.
> Vigilant enough to assess and report control and procedural weaknesses with sound knowledge of banking regulation and laws and internal audit approaches.
> Awareness of the risk of fraud, mismanagement, waste and losses. He/she should be vigilant and able to recognize these risks and to alert Bank Management.
> Demonstrate good knowledge of up-to-date management concepts (e.g. risk, operation, and control and quality management).
> Demonstrate familiarity & up to date knowledge with applicable laws, NRB regulation and strong ability to communicate effectively with clients on audit issues.
> Strong inter-personal skills, analytical skills, communication skills, ability to self-manage, team leadership, planning and report writing skills and ability to work under pressure.
Ready for frequent visit to outside station for auditing
