Satirical puja against blockade at Pashupatinath Temple

KATHMANDU, Oct 8: A satirical puja has been performed deriding the ongoing blockade imposed by India at Pashupatinath Temple on Thursday.

With the growing impact of the blockade on the daily life of the Nepali people, a symbolic puja has been performed in the name of India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Pashupatinath Temple this morning.

The satirical puja has been performed in order to cleanse Modi of his sins he has committed by imposing blockade against Nepal.

Hundreds of people including comedians Hari Bansha Acharya, Madan Krishna Shrestha, Manoj Gajurel, Former Secretary Lilamani Paudel, senior journalist Kanak Mani Dixit and civil society leaders had participated in the program.
