The agitating Samyukta Loktantrik Madhesi Morcha (SLMM) has formed a four-member talks team to hold dialogue with the big three political parties.
A meeting of the SLMM held in Kathmandu on Sunday took the decision to this effect. The panel includes Co-Chairman of Sadbhawana Party Laxman Lal Karna, Sanghiya Samajbadi Forum Nepal (SSFN) leader Lal Babu Raut, Tarai Madhes Loktantrik Party (TMLP) General Secretary Sarbendra Nath Sukla, and Namnaresh Rai of Tarai Madhes Sadbhawana Party (TMSP).
However, the alliance has decided to give continuity to the blockade of entry points, Sadbhawana General Secretary Manish Suman said.
Chairman of the alliance Upendra Yadav, TMLP Chairman Mahanta Thakur, Sadbhawana Party Co-Chairman Laxman Lal Karna and TMSP’s Chairman Mahendra Yadav were present during the meeting convened at Samajbadi Forum Nepal’s Office in Tinkune, Kathmadu.
The front is firm on its stand that they would not come to agreement unless the three parties address the demands of federal state demarcation.
