Dec 22, 2015- Leaders of the agitating Samyukta Loktantrik Madhesi Morcha (SLMM) are meeting on Tuesday to make their position on the 3-point proposal floated by the government.
The meeting summoned at Sanghiya Samajwadi Forum Nepal party office in the Capital this evening is likely to devise Morcha’s official position on the proposal.
The meeting will also discuss developments on regular talks held with main opposition Nepali Congress lately as part of the bid to forge a common position.
Morcha has been positive about the government’s efforts to address their 11-point demand for the first time.
The government had, on Sunday, proposed a 3-point decision to address ongoing Tarai unrest. The decision was welcomed by India through a statement on Monday.
